*Love Yourself Balanced Diet Meal Plan Review

*I received this product for free but the opinions are my own.

I am definitely not a cook, it's not a case of won't cook it's more a case of can't cook I'm rubbish. I have tried to cook over the years but it's very rare that I have made anything decent. I have even tried the meal delivery plans where you are sent the ingredients you need and a step by step plan and I can still make a mess of it, so when I was offered the chance to try out the Love Yourself Balanced Diet Meal Plan* I jumped at the chance. This is not only a meal delivery plan that delivers the meal ready cooked you can also choose the amount of calories you want to eat per day and the plan I was sent was 1500 calories per day which allowed me to stay within my planned calories on my current diet.
Love Yourself Balanced Diet Meal Plan Review
The meal plan includes 5 meals per day.   They are cooked each day using fresh ingredients and delivered daily each evening.  The meals include breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 snacks and you can also get different calorie options either 1200, 1500, 2000 or 2500. This is great for those of us trying to follow a calorie controlled diet as you know exactly what you can eat each day without counting every calorie as it's already done for you. You can even scan each meal via the MyFitnessPal app so you can track each meal.

You can order the meal plan for various durations from 1 day to 8 weeks (Monday - Saturday). Meal plans start from £25 for 1 day of meals which averages out at £5 per meal (you can also order single meals on the Single Meal Plan. The 1500 calorie meal plan costs £26 for 1 day (the price changes depending on the calories you choose for this plan).

I received a meal plan for 2 days which consisted of the following (those in bold are picture above):

Breakfast - Spinach and sweet potato tortilla
Morning Snack - Italian-style soup
Lunch - Sweet and sour chicken with rice noodles
Afternoon Snack - Cheesecake with a mixed berry jam
Dinner - Crunchy raw vegetable & Quinoa salad

Breakfast - Berry crumble with Greek yoghurt
Morning Snack -Green pea & broccoli mash with carrots
Lunch - Italian beef meatballs cooked in tomato sauce with polenta & parmesan
Afternoon Snack - Pina colada
Dinner - Fig and goats cheese salad

The balanced meal plan has some really tasty options and my favourites were the lunches which were so tasty and filling. The most I had to do was warm some of the meals up for around 2 minutes so they were really quick and easy and ideal when working from home.

There are a variety of meal plans to chose from - Balanced Diet, Vegetarian Diet, Dairy Free Diet, Gluten Free Diet, Halal Balanced Diet, Halal Performance Diet, Keto Plan, Low Carb Diet, Veto Diet, Mini Diet, Performance Diet, Pescatarian Diet, Platinum Plan, Single Meal Plan.

You can check what the menu is before ordering so you know what you are getting which is great so you don't order anything you don't want to eat. Meals can be heated up in the oven or microwave so it could not be easier.

This option is great for anyone that is either too busy to cook or like me just can't cook and is perfect for anyone on a diet so you know exactly how many calories you are eating in a day. I really recommend this meal plan the food was excellent and there was a really good range of foods included. One of the great things about these meal plans is getting to try out things you wouldn't normally eat. I had heard of polenta before but never fancied trying it and because it came with the meatballs I ended up trying it and loving it.

I love that you can choose to get meals for 1 day or if you have the budget you can purchase up to 8 weeks.   I love being able to order a day of meals when I'm struggling for time or just want a change from the ready made frozen meals I generally eat and the fact that I know it fits in with my calorie controlled diet is so helpful as I think it will be a good option when I find myself over eating and just need a quick and easy way of making sure I stick to my calorie plan.

If you are interested in trying out a meal plan from Love Yourself I have a referral link hich you can use by clicking here which will give you 20% off your first order (I will receive £40 off a £50 spend).
