Use it or Lose it Challenge October
After the success of Septembers Use it or Lose it Challenge, where I chose 8 products to try to see if I liked them or not (I decided to get rid of 3 and keep 5), I thought I would pick another set of products to use in October. For anyone that missed Septembers challenge update the link is here.
The products I have decided to use or lose in October are:
Vanitas Versace Perfume 4.5ml - I received a trial size in a beauty box ages ago and never got around to using it. I did a post on my perfumes awhile ago and promised that I would use more of my perfumes.
Avon Glimmerstick Diamonds Eye Liner in Smokey Diamond - Another product Ive had ages and not used. I must admit I have hooded eyelids so I'm not sure eyeliner works for me but I'm going to try a few of my eyeliners in October and see if they are worth keeping. The other eye liners I will try are:
Elf Shimmer Eye Liner Pencil - I cant find a name on the pencil but its a smokey grey colour.
Avon Super Shock Gel Eye Liner in Black - a basic black eye liner I have used before but I can't remember when.
Ive also got a Avon Glimmerstick Brow Definer to try as well. Ive had all the above for awhile and I don't think Ive ever used them on a regular basis.
MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette - This palette has 12 shades ranging from nudes to metallics which Ive never even opened. I love buying make up and then just put in away and don't really use it. I could probably have saved loads of money over the years if I didn't buy stuff I never use. I chose this palette to try because I used the Urban Decay Naked palette in my September challenge, so wanted to compare the cheaper version against the original.
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour Blush in Tipsy - My Canadian friend sent this to me in swap and I was really pleased to receive it as you cant buy these blushes in the UK. I think Ive swatched this once at best, Ive got to be honest it does look abit bright for me but Ill try it out and let you know how I get on.
Mac Prep+Prime BB Creme - Another product I have never used. I bought it the last time I was in America.
Tarte Lip Service Limited Edition Lip Surgence collection - 5 Lip Tints. I have used them a couple of times but not much. Its a nice gift set I picked up in Sephora and they are similar to Clinique Chubby Sticks. I need more lip products like a hole in the head, but I just cant resist them especially at bargain prices. This one was $29 but retail value was $120. What can I say, it was a bargain I just couldn't resist.
Benefit Benetint Rose tinted lip and cheek stain 4ml - Ive always been abit wary about using this product on my cheeks as it looks very bright, but I saw someone applying it on the train (sorry if I was staring) and saw how she applied it and wanted to try it myself. Hopefully it will look as good on me.
MAC Eye Shadow in Sable 1.5g - I have used this before but not in a while so thought it was time to dig it out and try it again. This is lovely bronze eye shadow.
Anyway those are my products for October. I will report back at the end of the month.
