I usually wear a similar version from M&S which I think maybe cost £20 for 2 pairs (I've had them a while so I may not be correct with that figure). These Anti Chafe Shorts are only £6 and come in a good variety of colours. They work great and just stop that uncomfortable rubbing of my thighs and don't roll up when you wear them. They come in XS, S, M, L, XL & 2XL sizes. I've already bought 3 pairs. I can't recommend them enough. </span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEig15Qt-x-b1U_X5Mbo1f2W-wy0UoHRi6jRpcxPzBcY9v1hJoydKtNw89pEcPaU1pukQdrgAoeDgMTfGwxHk2BB-ksWztss_X2J2qesli647CJCWH4_j6zH-TEbfd_pAcDHMkI0_CCFsgKcIDbA1TZ98n9W9p1YaxU7hYtaPp13jelwAsJXJz7n8qjm0Qw/s4000/IMG_20240315_152928556_HDR.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Primark Seamfree Anti Chafe Shorts" border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEig15Qt-x-b1U_X5Mbo1f2W-wy0UoHRi6jRpcxPzBcY9v1hJoydKtNw89pEcPaU1pukQdrgAoeDgMTfGwxHk2BB-ksWztss_X2J2qesli647CJCWH4_j6zH-TEbfd_pAcDHMkI0_CCFsgKcIDbA1TZ98n9W9p1YaxU7hYtaPp13jelwAsJXJz7n8qjm0Qw/w480-h640/IMG_20240315_152928556_HDR.jpg" title="Primark Seamfree Anti Chafe Shorts" width="480" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span><p></p><p style="text-align: center;"> <i style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "times new roman"; font-size: x-large;">Leigh</i><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: x-large;">💜</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; text-align: center;"><span style="color: black; font-family: georgia; font-size: x-small;">I purchased this product with my own money</span></span></span></p><div><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; text-align: center;"><span style="color: black; font-family: georgia; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></span></span></div>Leighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13908715881713304678noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7764347946907803563.post-51159759732841609502024-03-17T06:00:00.001+00:002024-03-17T06:00:00.261+00:00KIEHL'S Ultra Facial Advanced Repair Barrier Cream Review<p><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: justify;">Occasionally, my skin becomes a little sensitive, usually when I have tried a few too many new products. When this happens I reach for KIEHL'S Ultra Facial Advanced Repair Barrier Cream*. Its a balm to cream formula which instantly relieves and repairs skins moisture barrier. Its suitable for dry skin which is prone to distress and discomfort. It contains Colloidal Oatmeal, Niacinamide and Beta-Glucan.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOuuHl75h83E7Y7LxuvaBTkzs2LZAKl4h795wCCp8hlekeWD5wvonmzXFjjSobsakfeaYrmzXK5EGNPOJrUiVNRZ8A5-BeecwmVPcni0aFDc3LQ2_ZA74FHyCcIQPipN62gQDXV1VgpG4TSVaLviLhEmqCmbMPr1SLnQMhNPoLBJ0g_2NSncpxRsJWeB4/s4080/IMG_20240225_152148174.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="KIEHL'S Ultra Facial Advanced Repair Barrier Cream Review" border="0" data-original-height="4080" data-original-width="3072" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOuuHl75h83E7Y7LxuvaBTkzs2LZAKl4h795wCCp8hlekeWD5wvonmzXFjjSobsakfeaYrmzXK5EGNPOJrUiVNRZ8A5-BeecwmVPcni0aFDc3LQ2_ZA74FHyCcIQPipN62gQDXV1VgpG4TSVaLviLhEmqCmbMPr1SLnQMhNPoLBJ0g_2NSncpxRsJWeB4/w482-h640/IMG_20240225_152148174.jpg" title="KIEHL'S Ultra Facial Advanced Repair Barrier Cream Review" width="482" /></a></div><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Usually when my skin becomes sensitive, it manifests itself as red skin with a rough texture and when that happens I know I have to switch to nourishing, calming products like this one. Buying the wrong foundation can be costly, so I definitely need to be more careful going forward when I purchase this kind of product. One of the products that was suitable for my skin was the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint. This product is more like a hydrating tinted moisturiser which gives a blurring effect to the skin. It does state that it is a light to medium coverage, but I didn't try to build it up to medium coverage as I prefer a light coverage that just evens out my skin tone.</span></div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4nr2M0iIMtDOKFtrcH-7WJPLikBRUH5hjLvTopgk4Oy99qPa5HGrmhTtgc6yy-0erBsXK9krcW0XTFen4jlY02q2DkMZdWtCkrrTkZnbXGiTKAcAj5BmIJ9s9wRAfkFxjK28VXTnj5NIGYrdWvhatQVx5vVtjVosPX_co1X0Do9JmYF-HeIWZngoL/s4000/Fenty.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4nr2M0iIMtDOKFtrcH-7WJPLikBRUH5hjLvTopgk4Oy99qPa5HGrmhTtgc6yy-0erBsXK9krcW0XTFen4jlY02q2DkMZdWtCkrrTkZnbXGiTKAcAj5BmIJ9s9wRAfkFxjK28VXTnj5NIGYrdWvhatQVx5vVtjVosPX_co1X0Do9JmYF-HeIWZngoL/s4000/Fenty.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint" border="0" data-original-height="3000" data-original-width="4000" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4nr2M0iIMtDOKFtrcH-7WJPLikBRUH5hjLvTopgk4Oy99qPa5HGrmhTtgc6yy-0erBsXK9krcW0XTFen4jlY02q2DkMZdWtCkrrTkZnbXGiTKAcAj5BmIJ9s9wRAfkFxjK28VXTnj5NIGYrdWvhatQVx5vVtjVosPX_co1X0Do9JmYF-HeIWZngoL/w640-h480/Fenty.jpg" title="Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint" width="640" /></a></div></div><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">This product comes in 25 shades and my shade is 5 - Light Medium with Warm Yellow Undertones. I applied it with a dense foundation brush and it applied easily and did not sit in the fine lines around my eyes or highlight any dry areas on my skin. Its a really light skin tint that covers the redness in my skin and overall is perfect for that no makeup look. It costs from £27 for 32ml and you can purchase it from Boots or Harvey Nichols (I haven't put any links in this post as its always worth doing a search to see if there are any offers on the product at the time of purchase). Overall, I really liked the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint and I will definitely make the effort to use it more often.</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><i style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "times new roman"; font-size: x-large;">Leigh</i><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: x-large;">💜</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: x-large;"></span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; text-align: center;"><span style="color: black; font-family: georgia; font-size: x-small;">I purchased this product with my own money</span></span></span></p><div><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; text-align: center;"><span style="color: black; font-family: georgia; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></span></span></div>Leighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13908715881713304678noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7764347946907803563.post-71800300183400106192024-03-03T06:00:00.001+00:002024-03-03T06:00:00.141+00:00e.l.f. Supergoop Dupe - Suntouchable! Invisible Sunscreen<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I have found a great dupe for the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF30. This product is my absolute favourite SPF as its clear, so its very easy to apply on the go and it doesn't take ages to sink in or leave a greasy residue. It is quite pricey though at £35 for 50ml. </span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXm7rOD6XWMvJGUV-frvPz3QvFyjXI6M-cPgwq3OvxhqbbWnI1WM-Nz1jlE_nod_1taDo_mzJ-ImUnfYhyplN0tvCMZFgLF-AHbqksqR-NHlFqddQrGjAStdEGLGHdgkY_w5fnIXtGF0yQh_ByBsNuTaMuqYDXcGZHDMMcewOnAOhpo-g_86RYpCyaol4/s4080/IMG_20240107_103641072~2.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="e.l.f. Supergoop Dupe - Suntouchable! Invisible Sunscreen</a> SPF30. This costs a bargain £14 for 50ml. It has an identical clear consistency and like the Supergoop! product it is not fragranced. This is a multitasking product that also works as a primer, that blurs the skin and works really great under foundation. It feels hydrating and works on all skin types and contains meadowfoam seed oil and aloe. It does contain dimethicone which is a silicone based polymer, so if you are not keen on the slippery feel of silicone skincare products, then this one is not for you. I would say that the e.l.f. product has a slightly wetter feel to it, whereas the Supergoop! product feels more velvety on the skin at first, but they both sink into the skin quickly.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I also bought the e.l.f. Suntouchable! Whoa Glow Sunscreen SPF30 which is more of a glowy product and I think it will be a dupe for Supergoop! Glow Screen, so keep an eye out for my review coming soon.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Don't get me wrong I still like the Supergoop! version and will stock up on it when I come across offers, but its great to have a more reasonably priced version available.</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"> <i style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "times new roman"; font-size: x-large;">Leigh</i><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: x-large;">💜</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"></span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"></span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; text-align: center;"><span style="color: black; font-family: georgia; font-size: x-small;">I purchased these products with my own money</span></span></span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br />Leighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13908715881713304678noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7764347946907803563.post-84930318916749235572024-02-25T06:00:00.001+00:002024-02-25T06:00:00.247+00:00Just A Quickie - Favourite Hair Claw Clip<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I remember wearing claw clips in my hair when I was a teenager, so I am happy that they are having a comeback (along with scrunchies it seems). I love these Kitsch Eco-Friendly Chain Claw Clips in Neutral shades from <a href="https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/kitsch-eco-friendly-chain-claw-clip-neutrals/13899211.html" target="_blank">Cult Beauty</a>. Halo Glow Liquid Filter Review<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I recently reviewed one of my favourite Charlotte Tilbury products, <span style="text-align: justify;">Hollywood Flawless Filter</span><span style="text-align: justify;"> and compared it with a dupe from Primark called Flawless Glow. You can read my review <a href="https://beautybargainsandbeyond.blogspot.com/2024/02/primark-charlotte-tilbury-hollywood.html" target="_blank">here</a>. I have found another dupe for the CT product, this time from e.l.f. which is called Halo Glow Liquid Filter. This is a glow booster for radiant skin which contains squalane and hyaluronic acid. I got the shade 4 Medium which is a tad too dark for me in the winter to wear by itself, but it will work well in summer and it works well under foundation right now to give my foundation a boost and an added glow.</span></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgneR1ngTtmd29FyahYT66cT1npZVBQg1QwQQnypuWdGLOismHP2aiJlFxquuGC2IwE4DPva62-E0bJA6S0Vi_VOUBNjjfJDzm6_NkG40pn_uoaisv_D009-p7o0I0QRBHxs99RZOWvEb3yfvU0xykTm4RuDCw5c5o_3syyE_g6arbTstVHQH5OqEIJt6Y/s4080/IMG_20231226_105903238.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="e.l.f. It costs £14 for 31.5ml from <a href="http://e.l.f.">e.l.f.</a> and I waited for the Black Friday sale to get 30% off which was a great deal. The products are all made using a minimum of 50% recycled nylon. It does cost £39 for 30ml, but its worth it because its super easy to use and just enhances any makeup look. When I happened upon the Primark version, I just had to give it a try. The </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">PS Flawless Glow is a radiant glow primer foundation hybrid enriched with squalene and Vitamin E. </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">I bought two shades - Sun Beige & Honey as I couldn't find an exact match to my </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">Charlotte Tilbury</span><span style="font-family: verdana;"> shade and wasn't sure which would be the best match. It has the same large doe foot applicator and the consistency looks the same. I don't look at ingredients as I am not a scientist, so I am just comparing how the products look on the skin.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjREV-7-UqL6Xvkpv5qkr856AgjJoJEDj2l1QR1z-sg75w781hk7OPSWu1zwq0EvUqjygw3xIs0HVjWzVv4pMPeZqeoGWk2iUlbb-z02TADhK0okjHcv-tfQP3RponhCNwIvqA6Uan3RwKqRpgLS7CBtkztWfB59yJZG_RkiTFgA9urnzpP2iPDI_Eif2k/s4000/IMG_20230716_132937140.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter Primark Dupe" border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjREV-7-UqL6Xvkpv5qkr856AgjJoJEDj2l1QR1z-sg75w781hk7OPSWu1zwq0EvUqjygw3xIs0HVjWzVv4pMPeZqeoGWk2iUlbb-z02TADhK0okjHcv-tfQP3RponhCNwIvqA6Uan3RwKqRpgLS7CBtkztWfB59yJZG_RkiTFgA9urnzpP2iPDI_Eif2k/w480-h640/IMG_20230716_132937140.jpg" title="Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter Primark Dupe" width="480" /></a></div><br /><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4Kq-nznlZF8OLelOZ2dOHvw2gPb18Oj1Cm2jaIIVC3bvnmee20ZrdSj8cxzzRmUywvm6LKt0g3PO1t305R_rEjya0rs43UhZNnqXR5-EE6sZfE_bxQWXBZj0zZXXkgdwkDC4Smoy9p12aEPgxHHuo8n5sON_LZ5td3KIkmOZUHaZgNgc67BNweNFjmNE/s4000/IMG_20230716_133909719.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter Primark Dupe" border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4Kq-nznlZF8OLelOZ2dOHvw2gPb18Oj1Cm2jaIIVC3bvnmee20ZrdSj8cxzzRmUywvm6LKt0g3PO1t305R_rEjya0rs43UhZNnqXR5-EE6sZfE_bxQWXBZj0zZXXkgdwkDC4Smoy9p12aEPgxHHuo8n5sON_LZ5td3KIkmOZUHaZgNgc67BNweNFjmNE/w480-h640/IMG_20230716_133909719.jpg" title="Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter Primark Dupe" width="480" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">L to R: Charlotte Tilbury 3 Fair, Primark Sunbeige and Honey</td></tr></tbody></table><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I put the Primark shades on one side of my face (one on my forehead and the other below it - not mixed) and </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">Charlotte Tilbury</span><span style="font-family: verdana;"> on the other. Even though they all looked different shades, I really couldn't tell any difference once they were applied, they all looked identical and worked well with my skin tone. This type of product is not a full coverage foundation, its simply an all over highlighter. I have to say that all 3 products left a lovely subtle peach glow on my skin and there really was no difference at all. I then applied foundation over them and the highlight shone through, enhancing the foundation. They all lasted well and overall I was super impressed with the Primark version which cost £6 each for 30ml (they had been reduced to £3.50 last time I was in a store).</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"> <i style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "times new roman"; font-size: x-large;">Leigh</i><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: x-large;">💜</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"></span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; text-align: center;"><span style="color: black; font-family: georgia; font-size: x-small;">I purchased these products with my own money</span></span></span></p>Leighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13908715881713304678noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7764347946907803563.post-7434013599305081002024-01-28T06:00:00.001+00:002024-01-28T06:00:00.139+00:00Primark Hair Frizz Tamer Review<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">If any of you reading this have those stray flyaway hairs that you struggle to control then <b>Primark Hair Frizz Tamer </b>is the product you are looking for. Its basically a mascara wand, but instead of mascara it uses transparent gel to hold your hair in place. Its easy to use but you have to have a light touch if you have frizzy hair like me, as the wand can easily get caught up in your hair and drag it out of place rather than tame it, but once you get used to it, its a doddle to use and best of all it doesn't leave your hair feeling sticky or hard. It only costs £2.50 for 10ml which is a bargain. I'm definitely going to stock up on them next time I'm in Primark. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMVtbcv0EpUFhLOiwnpI9ipFcY7DiBIZgo7CP8Ey2_nygvC7jhP7FmwH0oIrOBFNJJZQDpDqwmOVn_heeMQwF6ZzUV5maxIT-leaMZ7-Hbc_VaK3QBGZ2Gez3PGrAxYeDLI_MaiORp7T3fcxsglFiifeY2GNn_uz5cnF6P3DgmrU2gb1pTPVm678n6haE/s4000/IMG_20231226_131645372.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Primark Hair Frizz Tamer" border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMVtbcv0EpUFhLOiwnpI9ipFcY7DiBIZgo7CP8Ey2_nygvC7jhP7FmwH0oIrOBFNJJZQDpDqwmOVn_heeMQwF6ZzUV5maxIT-leaMZ7-Hbc_VaK3QBGZ2Gez3PGrAxYeDLI_MaiORp7T3fcxsglFiifeY2GNn_uz5cnF6P3DgmrU2gb1pTPVm678n6haE/w240-h320/IMG_20231226_131645372.jpg" title="Primark Hair Frizz Tamer" width="240" /></a></div><p style="text-align: center;"> <i style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "times new roman"; font-size: x-large;">Leigh</i><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: x-large;">💜</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; text-align: center;"><span style="color: black; font-family: georgia; font-size: x-small;">I purchased this product with my own money</span></span></span></p><p><i style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "times new roman"; font-size: x-large; text-align: center;"><br /></i></p><p><br /></p>Leighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13908715881713304678noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7764347946907803563.post-2705637125049507672024-01-21T06:00:00.001+00:002024-01-21T06:00:00.138+00:00Money Saving - Old TFL Oyster Cards<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Its that time of year again where I'm looking to save money or at least not spend as much. I recently found out that there was an easy way to check if you had any remaining money on old TFL Oyster cards and if its under £10 you can get a refund then and there. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPw_10dxYsf9f1zRAFP_5jxqyD7uUMoBWFcTSnGmkj8H8NOJxL5EdI9lGGOzmqDtqzyD4-5jjJohjdXbqO9MdXtFxcalVdzKhxw8ZdxTYK6klwEC7sfO3hL8L3dKgFgNsEAuykWVTN5wasRzxBgaQGGAUJiH_4xkKFXkhIz7fOm2GZgNduaiwmBPmDldM/s1280/underground-signs-1768736_1280.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="TFL Oyster Cards" border="0" data-original-height="959" data-original-width="1280" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPw_10dxYsf9f1zRAFP_5jxqyD7uUMoBWFcTSnGmkj8H8NOJxL5EdI9lGGOzmqDtqzyD4-5jjJohjdXbqO9MdXtFxcalVdzKhxw8ZdxTYK6klwEC7sfO3hL8L3dKgFgNsEAuykWVTN5wasRzxBgaQGGAUJiH_4xkKFXkhIz7fOm2GZgNduaiwmBPmDldM/w640-h480/underground-signs-1768736_1280.jpg" title="TFL Oyster Cards" width="640" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I had no idea that I might still have money on my old Oyster Card. I have got used to using my contactless card to pay for all my Tube trips in London, but for some reason before getting rid of my old Oyster card (as I hadn't used it for ages), I decided to check if I had any credit left on it. Its easy to do, just pop to a ticket machine at a Tube station and touch your Oyster card to the yellow card reader. Pick the option for Oyster Refund and follow the instructions to find out your balance. If its under £10 you can get your refund at the machine in cash. Mine was only £5, but its worth checking if you are in London and still have your Oyster Card. I did try and register online to find out my balance, but my card wasn't recognised so I had to do it in person, but its worth checking on the TFL website first if you aren't visiting London anytime soon.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><i style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "times new roman"; font-size: x-large; text-align: center;"> Leigh</i><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: x-large; text-align: center;">💜</span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div>Leighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13908715881713304678noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7764347946907803563.post-16378225015203716322024-01-14T06:00:00.001+00:002024-01-14T06:00:00.141+00:00Just A Quickie - Favourite Perfume<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">My absolute favourite perfume right now is Tom Ford Bitter Peach. I'm not going to lie, its expensive, so I only use it for special occasions, but whenever I wear it I always get compliments which is nice. I love the peach with a hint of orange fragrance that is not cloyingly sweet, but has spicy notes. It costs from £90 for 10ml, so I would definitely recommend saving up for this one and waiting for the sales to grab it.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglxecoRJqQBrK92hQnPGp1JEkfA6IhGKwAghTWtTrVDSbxeGRl5JMDPG9wIGK4azHC7rqzV4TTohvcnkpHYhL0EwD0gdQRX_ww5MxNeR9fi2a0ig34IgWjICdZoIh5-KsYcFlY5AMFjHlh_SBROXRH3pPmbpCBhnU5Be_4Ss_VBrMKlqzoowDWefOf4VU/s4080/IMG_20231226_095945453.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Tom Ford Bitter Peach" border="0" data-original-height="4080" data-original-width="3072" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglxecoRJqQBrK92hQnPGp1JEkfA6IhGKwAghTWtTrVDSbxeGRl5JMDPG9wIGK4azHC7rqzV4TTohvcnkpHYhL0EwD0gdQRX_ww5MxNeR9fi2a0ig34IgWjICdZoIh5-KsYcFlY5AMFjHlh_SBROXRH3pPmbpCBhnU5Be_4Ss_VBrMKlqzoowDWefOf4VU/w482-h640/IMG_20231226_095945453.jpg" title="Tom Ford Bitter Peach" width="482" /></a></div><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I can't afford to use this on a daily basis, so for a cheeky dupe I recommend <a href="https://www.theessencevault.co.uk/products/inspired-by-bitter-peach-948?variant=39747595993170" target="_blank">The Essence Vault 948</a> which is inspired by Bitter Peach. I have never enjoyed a full coverage foundation, so I am happy with the light coverage of tinted products as they just even out my skin tone. My new favourite product is Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint. Its pricey at £49 for 35ml, but luckily I waited for the Black Friday discounts to buy it with 25% off and I also had a voucher to use so paid less than £30. Bargain. Its so easy to apply as I just use my fingers for this sort of product and it blends really easily.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyj0BMHMjTtaZOW00imq4-haW52_Rw_tfZnxCqZykcV8Z6dGdsZVL-wHz5Nucp2dRrNFbrgG_Zr6J3IzDLI5bWByjP3jVTAuas4dLhplUKYsg4rxcDQoF6bv8Da7HNEJa6nZtwVHKSxjXRZZUeEdh2sICr0pkPFm6GlTE3OaWpARtivanNGm4uHp4xlTE/s4080/IMG_20231226_095855206.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; text-align: center;"></div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><div style="text-align: justify;">I attended a Sunday Riley Masterclass this year and found it really informative and I was very impressed by Sunday and her great products. One of the products that I wanted to try was <a href="https://uk.sundayriley.com/products/ice-ceramide-moisturizing-cream" target="_blank">Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturising Cream</a>. My skin tends towards the dry side so this product really seemed to fit the bill, its also supposed to be great for stopping your skin dehydrating during travelling so I took it with me on my holiday.</div></span><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdJ31MomfWoSf9h_BDcJYv2gyEOvySTr2sKDVpq51Sy3gxNa1Ts2jiqzQcdAkDVdwoUrcMq6ZIdsSr78BEYxsUCzpxxqTVYylbPY61-DWO1XCnzdrFd47a8FCOnfAKdGhPuZ2tN_idkVO21VuqhnwfDWaxWqD9SCprxsWMockced68tkDwUeSW3drwXOA/s4000/IMG_20231127_122022165.jpg"><img alt="Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturising Cream" border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="2250" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdJ31MomfWoSf9h_BDcJYv2gyEOvySTr2sKDVpq51Sy3gxNa1Ts2jiqzQcdAkDVdwoUrcMq6ZIdsSr78BEYxsUCzpxxqTVYylbPY61-DWO1XCnzdrFd47a8FCOnfAKdGhPuZ2tN_idkVO21VuqhnwfDWaxWqD9SCprxsWMockced68tkDwUeSW3drwXOA/w360-h640/IMG_20231127_122022165.jpg" title="Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturising Cream" width="360" /></a></div><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">This is quite a thick cream, but its lightweight and its not oily or greasy, in fact it doesn't slip easily on your skin which I actually like. A little goes a long way and my skin felt instantly hydrated and it makes for a great primer under foundation. It really helped to keep my skin feeling moisturised whilst travelling as well. Its sulphate-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, soy-free, fragrance-free, phthalate-free, vegetarian and cruelty free. It contains ceramides, vitamin F, coconut, beetroot extract, red algae extract </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">and pomegranate sterols. </span><span style="font-family: verdana;"></span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I think this is a great cream for dry, dehydrated, mature or sensitive skin and can be used as both a day and night cream for smooth, supple, happy skin. Its pricey at £60 for 50g, but it lasts a good amount of time and can be used sparingly as you don't need to paint your face with it. A little blob is sufficient and you are good to go. There's lots of Sunday Riley products that I can't wait to try out, so keep your eyes peeled for more reviews.</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><i style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "times new roman"; font-size: x-large;">Leigh</i><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: x-large;">💜</span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: x-large;"><span style="color: black; font-family: georgia; font-size: x-small; text-align: center;">I purchased this product with my own money</span></span></p>Leighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13908715881713304678noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7764347946907803563.post-83523703463254686542023-12-13T06:00:00.000+00:002023-12-13T23:23:03.825+00:00Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer Review - Bobbi Brown Dupe<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><b>**Reposted as the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer is currently reduced to £2.50 from £4.50.</b></span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I picked up the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer because it looked like it was a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. The Primark version costs £4.50 for 45ml and the Bobbi Brown Face Base costs £48.50 for 50ml, so there is quite a price difference. </span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhxT6YeeLvMNobz7-8NhG3GWPkS71ecqaq8UbwO_i-csFHc-7M6YAMNkIJ211-NyiaJVQGkJ_yEPjKpKFy84VtotRm0c_1fCsF9JHDaigeml-j3j_aU3xTzlQ1ZqeITPw5G3BExBO22XtHQKLCLgWrZbJQEHcbp6zpXNQLa1_fKf0AhnohrzmYoC6TE=s4000" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer Review" border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhxT6YeeLvMNobz7-8NhG3GWPkS71ecqaq8UbwO_i-csFHc-7M6YAMNkIJ211-NyiaJVQGkJ_yEPjKpKFy84VtotRm0c_1fCsF9JHDaigeml-j3j_aU3xTzlQ1ZqeITPw5G3BExBO22XtHQKLCLgWrZbJQEHcbp6zpXNQLa1_fKf0AhnohrzmYoC6TE=w480-h640" title="Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer Review" width="480" /></a></div><p></p><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I had always wanted to try out the Bobbi Brown product, so when I received a mini version in a gift with purchase goody bag I was really excited to try it out, but I have to say I was somewhat underwhelmed. I have quite dry skin and the face base did not have as much slip as I was expecting, so it didn't feel smooth when I applied my foundation. For the price I was expecting to love it way more than I did. It does have a lovely lemon smell which I really enjoy, where as the Primark version doesn't really have a fragrance. </span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Overall, I actually preferred the Primark version as it is thicker and it made for a better base for my foundation. It also seemed to be more hydrating. I have definitely reached more for the Primark primer since I purchased it and I rarely reach for the Bobbi Brown product as it just doesn't work for my dry skin. The packaging of the Primark version is pretty similar to Bobbi Brown's version and it looks nearly as good as the more expensive packaging.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">The Primark Primer contains Oat Oil, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Vitamin C and Niacinamide whereas the Bobbi Brown Face Base contains Vitamin B, C & E, Shea Butter and Hyaluronic Acid. I will say that the Bobbi Brown product is recommended for normal to oily skin rather than dry skin, whereas the Primark product does not state any recommendations. Primark's is Vegan and Cruelty Free, Bobbi Brown's is free of Parabens, Phthalates, Sulfates, animal derived ingredients and Gluten.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Overall, I felt the Primark dupe worked better for my skin type and for the price, its a no-brainer to chose the Primark Vitamin Enriched Moisturising Primer.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"></span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: justify;"><i style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "times new roman"; font-size: x-large; text-align: center;">Leigh</i><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: x-large; text-align: center;">💜</span></span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: georgia; font-size: x-small; text-align: center;">I purchased this product with my own money</span></span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p>Leighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13908715881713304678noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7764347946907803563.post-69411511175886009862023-12-11T07:19:00.001+00:002023-12-11T07:20:27.256+00:00*Christmas Opoly A Merry Game to Celebrate the Season<p><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: justify;">*I received this product for free but the opinions are my own.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">*Christmas Opoly is a fun game, which is a festive twist to the classic Monopoly game that we all know and love. First of all choose which player token you want to be. Choose from Scrooge, Candy Cane, Teddy Bear, Rudolph, Toy Train and Lump of Coal. The rules are similar to the classic game, if you land on a property, you can buy it. Properties start from Lump of Coal Lane for $70 (this game is in US Dollars) all the way up to Merry Christmas To All! which costs $425. Rent is paid by other players who land on owned properties.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6KcayrqQLxq4c1L8YkBajF3HHobaURta-rgqU1ENGa7msQifOE6GTbdKGEcXFfFGXvD5CQBRO24tJKJClhVcoVZsXD0yarLpPmUz-FPzx7mqfRVlhpbInF8WDYZFzNh98t3u8pOb_DVDySRPxcYuScO86Sb6wzsZlByNRYSjAz9xJACwZv3JyKLSHEKU/s472/monopoly.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Christmas Opoly" border="0" data-original-height="441" data-original-width="472" height="598" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6KcayrqQLxq4c1L8YkBajF3HHobaURta-rgqU1ENGa7msQifOE6GTbdKGEcXFfFGXvD5CQBRO24tJKJClhVcoVZsXD0yarLpPmUz-FPzx7mqfRVlhpbInF8WDYZFzNh98t3u8pOb_DVDySRPxcYuScO86Sb6wzsZlByNRYSjAz9xJACwZv3JyKLSHEKU/w640-h598/monopoly.jpg" title="Christmas Opoly" width="640" /></a></div><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">If you land on a Holiday Cheer or Bah Humbug space, you take the relevant card. Holiday Cheer cards say things like 'Gift Certificate Collect $100' or 'Ho!Ho!Ho Move the token of your choice to the space of your choice'. Whereas Bah Humbug cards say 'Accidentally run over by a reindeer Pay $100 Doctor fee' or 'Credit Card Declined Move back 10 spaces'. Any money that needs to be paid other than rent and purchasing properties is placed in the centre of the board. If a player lands on the Free Cookies space, they get to collect all the money in the centre of the board at that time.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">You collect $200 every time you pass GO Ho,Ho,Ho. So if like me you haven't bought all your presents yet, here's a great gift idea for any kids you need to buy presents for. I'm a big fan of Tom Ford and Black Orchid has been one of my signature scents for years now, although I do like to dabble in the newer scents such as Bitter Peach as well. As they are so expensive it's a rare treat for me rather then something I buy often. These Aldi dupes do give you the sense of Tom Ford and with the price points being under £5 compared to a couple of hundred for Tom Ford they are worth trying out, but you have to be quick as they don't stick around forever and I didn't manage to find the dupe for Black Orchid which I would have really loved to try out.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div style="text-align: justify;"></div></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6_8mYHKNVaGghFUZDgkqHjYXjLFUmDzjSnG-KU1IGvzf_GcDnIpg4Y5y1OMatNWRnLqx59jee2AyROaOP63SWGdV8EsqCLNPNphVGNVXokjp6cCZ_iFTL7VaC1UJ3tX4znWGYyfRwSF5F657aGiwrQhRtuj_v4xjfh93pQ59fcTXSF9HHNEjvrzdzwQY/s2937/IMG_20231201_142843070.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="ALDI Dupes - Tom Ford, Lush & Charlotte Tilbury" border="0" data-original-height="2937" data-original-width="2211" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6_8mYHKNVaGghFUZDgkqHjYXjLFUmDzjSnG-KU1IGvzf_GcDnIpg4Y5y1OMatNWRnLqx59jee2AyROaOP63SWGdV8EsqCLNPNphVGNVXokjp6cCZ_iFTL7VaC1UJ3tX4znWGYyfRwSF5F657aGiwrQhRtuj_v4xjfh93pQ59fcTXSF9HHNEjvrzdzwQY/w301-h400/IMG_20231201_142843070.jpg" title="ALDI Dupes - Tom Ford, Lush & Charlotte Tilbury" width="301" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgARsEzH7II2fGayJlVzifPqC8C3s1aBuJW-VhV4YRB_wspzip8GvdxhX2ZA3EoE3Zl4u3gPDQrul5bZd_4II7rsamGv9p2kN1eLM6J6ULVzGYDr8xInqENY_UZlAbXmqT5_0y6qcHFeGKJVfJZcyO6TD3tRyMq7INFYyY3ZUttxpmC_NLwwiQY4VPdmiw/s2834/IMG_20231201_143027503.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="ALDI Dupes - Tom Ford, Lush & Charlotte Tilbury" border="0" data-original-height="2834" data-original-width="2078" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgARsEzH7II2fGayJlVzifPqC8C3s1aBuJW-VhV4YRB_wspzip8GvdxhX2ZA3EoE3Zl4u3gPDQrul5bZd_4II7rsamGv9p2kN1eLM6J6ULVzGYDr8xInqENY_UZlAbXmqT5_0y6qcHFeGKJVfJZcyO6TD3tRyMq7INFYyY3ZUttxpmC_NLwwiQY4VPdmiw/w294-h400/IMG_20231201_143027503.jpg" title="ALDI Dupes - Tom Ford, Lush & Charlotte Tilbury" width="294" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I managed to get hold of the </span><b style="font-family: verdana;">Solar Luxe</b><span style="font-family: verdana;"> EDP which I believe is a dupe for Tom Fords Soleil Blanc which is £4.99 for 50ml. I really like this scent and will definitely wear this as you can't tell its a cheap scent. I also got </span><b style="font-family: verdana;">Amalfi Brilliante</b><span style="font-family: verdana;"> EDP which is meant to smell similar to Neroli Portofino. Again its only £4.99 for 50ml. This is a stronger scent then Solar Luxe but not overpowering and again is something I would wear again. While they may not be a 100% dupe of Tom Ford they are certainly great scents and for the price point you can treat yourself to all 3 if you can find them. Certainly more palatable than if you were to purchase all 3 of the Tom Ford Fragrances it makes my eyes water just thinking about the cost. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKF10aiT6sYUgST9Oy9EiyBGxl5ulrqHw2vRNgUAf1CSxWmS1cufW_KSWoOERsmFBu_KjGI1UkG9361lFUkgqjZ1uuMcxaPXVzQSZhRxMvg-WfE51HYMEckYw7bK_0KN0n7o-RrWJgD1nWHLlLd3StzpZlMJ34wI_NsRbIywobYno2ikU76aKmvKcNZv0/s4000/IMG_20231201_143244451_HDR.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="ALDI Dupes - Tom Ford, Lush, Charles Worthington, Elemis & Charlotte Tilbury" border="0" data-original-height="2250" data-original-width="4000" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKF10aiT6sYUgST9Oy9EiyBGxl5ulrqHw2vRNgUAf1CSxWmS1cufW_KSWoOERsmFBu_KjGI1UkG9361lFUkgqjZ1uuMcxaPXVzQSZhRxMvg-WfE51HYMEckYw7bK_0KN0n7o-RrWJgD1nWHLlLd3StzpZlMJ34wI_NsRbIywobYno2ikU76aKmvKcNZv0/w640-h360/IMG_20231201_143244451_HDR.jpg" title="ALDI Dupes - Tom Ford, Lush, Charles Worthington, Elemis & Charlotte Tilbury" width="640" /></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><div style="text-align: justify;">Then there was <b>Lacura Rose Cleansing Balm</b> which I think is a dupe for an Elemis Cleansing Balm. It is just one of those staples that gets you in the mood for Christmas, but I must admit when I went into Lush the other day I just couldn't bring myself to buy a 550g bottle for £24, it just felt like the price was too high. I can't remember how much it was last year and maybe I will try and get some in the boxing day sales, but nope not for £24. I managed to get <b>Lacura Sweet Angel Shower Gel</b> which is only £1.79 for 500ml. It has that sweet bubble gum scent and lathers up well and to be honest I really couldn't tell the difference so I bought a couple of bottles and honestly I don't think I will miss having Snow Fairy this year. This is an excellent dupe. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I also bought the </span><b>Lacura Illuminate Setting Spray</b><span style="font-family: verdana;"> which I believe is a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray. It has a light fragrance and does the job either setting your make up or just to freshen up throughout the day. This was £4.49 for 95ml.</span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicfCWxB_qCfPnHsvnY3wj4uXnUiHbWbztKLmqydDhV2mWTRvLzHG8P25RryCqc60neqlnpuDc_IHP_aj_BuWuptj7RbVPMXDZhQKiVX62V6b_VoBO1CP4kJNZCk2KBbV6iHBnprGDdFWORZIBNZwXc_zHHKLHI8jbimq-gl1goHjkB-SIP3nRpRzv4GMM/s4080/IMG_20231126_100430279.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Aldi Lacura Almond Gentle Shower Oil" border="0" data-original-height="4080" data-original-width="3072" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicfCWxB_qCfPnHsvnY3wj4uXnUiHbWbztKLmqydDhV2mWTRvLzHG8P25RryCqc60neqlnpuDc_IHP_aj_BuWuptj7RbVPMXDZhQKiVX62V6b_VoBO1CP4kJNZCk2KBbV6iHBnprGDdFWORZIBNZwXc_zHHKLHI8jbimq-gl1goHjkB-SIP3nRpRzv4GMM/w482-h640/IMG_20231126_100430279.jpg" title="Aldi Lacura Almond Gentle Shower Oil" width="482" /></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: left;">Finally I picked up the <b>Lacura Almond Gentle Shower Oil</b>, which is a dupe for L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil. There are a range of candles and reed diffusers and the colour of the packaging and the names makes me think that they are inspired by Tom Ford perfumes. </span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDyhgxDHhS28eCnPp5csYMtIEC2jAJWLx-0KS9QvJx0IlP51gO3v6GWnSzrFlny7GueRHPx-G_iIQVLn9UjyT0tnZFLdD3m8465p_nOUEr5npbk6bYjXxOartr52_nvpS72hGVFVmUZZbUih5W2oo6aF3r0GEOuQSntF1zkVeWODQd0GZCEUtIDyu14kQ/s4080/IMG_20231126_100533958~2.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Aldi Tom Fords Dupes" border="0" data-original-height="4080" data-original-width="3072" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDyhgxDHhS28eCnPp5csYMtIEC2jAJWLx-0KS9QvJx0IlP51gO3v6GWnSzrFlny7GueRHPx-G_iIQVLn9UjyT0tnZFLdD3m8465p_nOUEr5npbk6bYjXxOartr52_nvpS72hGVFVmUZZbUih5W2oo6aF3r0GEOuQSntF1zkVeWODQd0GZCEUtIDyu14kQ/w482-h640/IMG_20231126_100533958~2.jpg" title="Aldi Tom Fords Dupes" width="482" /></a></div><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">First of all we have Crushed Peach which has orange packaging and appears to be "inspired" by the Tom Ford fragrance Bitter Peach. I can compare these as I actually own Bitter Peach. I would say that the Aldi products have a more peachy scent and is less spicy than Bitter Peach, but its a nice fresh fragrance nonetheless.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvm-5sWQ-FMpg0-xplJRzd1FsUPhPBtzwgA9H5Azdk8750OnU633ulkPXVURG6UDYDxITx4JCw1l3jPBZubJKphqRkfmLmlOhkX0WRo7LArzZiBE2l9t3tFXsUpSz6VuMowvlik_KZdpJCLfTzCRgGuTWMRhRNEkt5-o9ncPa2oLiBUOfVuMtvcTLxT1A/s2430/IMG_20231126_100332301~3.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Aldi Dupe Bitter Peach" border="0" data-original-height="2276" data-original-width="2430" height="600" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvm-5sWQ-FMpg0-xplJRzd1FsUPhPBtzwgA9H5Azdk8750OnU633ulkPXVURG6UDYDxITx4JCw1l3jPBZubJKphqRkfmLmlOhkX0WRo7LArzZiBE2l9t3tFXsUpSz6VuMowvlik_KZdpJCLfTzCRgGuTWMRhRNEkt5-o9ncPa2oLiBUOfVuMtvcTLxT1A/w640-h600/IMG_20231126_100332301~3.jpg" title="Aldi Dupe Bitter Peach" width="640" /></a></div><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Next there is Thorny Rose which I am guessing is inspired by Rose Prick (snigger!). I don't own this one, so all I can say is that Aldi's has a light rose scent.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Finally we have Cherry Pie, which I'm guessing is the Lost Cherry dupe. (This TF fragrance is on my wish list). The Aldi version is a light cherry scent.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">They obviously don't smell as good as the real thing, and are pretty much a one note scent based on the name, but they are cheap and cheerful products that most of us can afford, which is no bad thing. I will say though that the quality of the jar the candle is in doesn't feel cheap its got a good heft to it. The labels are a bit hap hazard and not that well placed, but for the price you can't complain. The candles and diffuser's cost £3.99 each. These sort of things don't hang around for long in Aldi so if you want some, I would get to your nearest store asap. I'm really hoping the do a perfume version as well at some point.</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"> <i style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "times new roman"; font-size: x-large;">Leigh</i><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: x-large;">💜</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"></span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; text-align: center;"><span style="color: black; font-family: georgia; font-size: x-small;">I purchased these products with my own money</span></span></span></p><div><span style="font-family: verdana; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #9c27b0; font-family: "Times New Roman"; text-align: center;"><span style="color: black; font-family: georgia; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></span></span></div>Leighhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13908715881713304678noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7764347946907803563.post-83456205866339979152023-11-26T06:00:00.001+00:002023-11-26T06:00:00.139+00:00Aldi Haul - Serums, Perfume, Powder Puffs & Body Lotion<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Here's a quick haul from Aldi. I bought a couple of Lacura Super Booster serums, The Collagen & Gold Serum which helps to promote firm and tighter skin and the Hyaluronic Acid Serum which helps to promote hydrated and smoother looking skin. They were £3.29 each for 20ml. I also bought the Lacura Smoothing Glycolic Body Lotion with 10% AHA blend, mango and shea butters. This product cost £4.99 for 250ml. The Lacura Powder Puffs cost £2.99 for a pack of 2 and are great for applying loose power under the eyes and around the nose. Finally, I picked up the Lacura Intense Passion Eau de Parfum which cost £5.99 for 50ml.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLAoRX86URyGuvos8BFAvxbNZ4RyxtE9Q073yTGHu5Q2bvLGjRBun6pDFCSr8m6GmVTfalyqwGvM8i7YjFSuv5o_qcdSW54ixy4dDA0D4xQjHSk0yELxQ818kroBzFdxw8xd3M0FwVFpQtDkpXr7Lh14fpjcPIymUv83tCU0lDl0JCFbfKcSVOZH1HFTI/s4000/IMG_20231029_153100129.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Aldi Beauty Haul" border="0" data-original-height="3000" data-original-width="4000" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLAoRX86URyGuvos8BFAvxbNZ4RyxtE9Q073yTGHu5Q2bvLGjRBun6pDFCSr8m6GmVTfalyqwGvM8i7YjFSuv5o_qcdSW54ixy4dDA0D4xQjHSk0yELxQ818kroBzFdxw8xd3M0FwVFpQtDkpXr7Lh14fpjcPIymUv83tCU0lDl0JCFbfKcSVOZH1HFTI/w640-h480/IMG_20231029_153100129.jpg" title="Aldi Beauty Haul" width="640" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I will say that you never know what you will find in store with Aldi, as a lot of the beauty range seems to be limited edition. Kikkerland Sports Trivia Game* has 50 cards with questions to test your knowledge on a variety of sports. Do you know your wickets from your wiffleball? Which sport was dropped in 2013 from the 2020 Summer Olympics only to be reinstated following an outcry from fans? The answers are multiple choice so even if you don't know the answer you can guess which one it is. There's questions about boxing, tennis, F1, badminton, the list goes on. Its also travel size so great to take away anywhere you go.</div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiB9U0PE8NXU8vC89f_tqhPzmiJMB4ResMhZVl0-XXXDcfWN4mffYc6ZmWMU6WiEOiELpY_tlwM4Sm2aUIRwWPxtLr5MbK_teaCBvaGQ5yLOUTj4oagOlunWoLrRM2oN2caB8DnQ9K9O33tZR-740hJRrVtJ_-UsT4SZZWbj0rOx1ekPWCpPFChBK2J0GM/s640/st.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Sports Trivia Game" border="0" data-original-height="433" data-original-width="640" height="434" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiB9U0PE8NXU8vC89f_tqhPzmiJMB4ResMhZVl0-XXXDcfWN4mffYc6ZmWMU6WiEOiELpY_tlwM4Sm2aUIRwWPxtLr5MbK_teaCBvaGQ5yLOUTj4oagOlunWoLrRM2oN2caB8DnQ9K9O33tZR-740hJRrVtJ_-UsT4SZZWbj0rOx1ekPWCpPFChBK2J0GM/w640-h434/st.jpg" title="Sports Trivia Game" width="640" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Sports Trivia Game* is 7 Euros from <a href="https://kikkerlandeu.com/products/sports-trivia-game?_pos=2&_sid=abacd758d&_ss=r" target="_blank">Kikkerland</a>.
